Project Scope Overview
There was a requirement to replace two power cable runs on two of the existing feeders at Halling.
The replacement of these cables included the installation of new class II intermediate cable through joint boxes to reduce the existing cable run distances to below 500m.
- Power cable 1 – between locations D384-D386 replaced with the addition of two new intermediate cable through joint boxes
- Power cable 2 – between locations D388B-D392 replaced with the addition of one new intermediate cable through joint box
All designs complied with the functionally equivalent design process using forms A to E as specified in Signal Design Handbook Module A2-9.
All NRG records were updated.
